Welcome to my Log

How great to have a new platform to share ideas and lessons we learn on our individual journeys. I invite you to join in as we are all growing and in process. I recently read an incredible book, Instruments in the Redeemer's Hands, by Paul David Tripp. The subtitle of the book is what personal ministry is all about: people in need of change helping people in need of change. I hope things shared here will be for that purpose to the glory of God.

Mission Trip to Honduras 7/08

Habakkuk 1:5 "Look among the nations! Observe! Be astonished! Wonder! Because I am doing something in your days — you would not believe if you were told.”
I've never seen a better verse to describe a mission trip! My daughter, Renee, and grandson, Tristan, joined me for an eight day trip with Mission of Mercy & KSBJ. We were able to visit Alber, the four year old boy they sponsor (see posted photos). What a joy it was to be able to bring a few VBS lessons to our group of nearly 150 children at project 10, and do a little painting & minor repairs to another project. More photos of the missions are posted at the following site: http://photo.walgreens.com/share/p=20811217601612592/l=21037598/g=28377569/cobrandOid=1009/otsc=SYE/otsi=SALB
